Bassel has a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University of Beirut.

Bassel’s career started in Lebanon as a financial advisor and soon after moved to the UAE where he was managing clients’ portfolios at SHUAA Capital. Bassel has gained considerable experience from his 20 years of trading the financial markets, most recently in his role as a director in Cedrus Invest Bank in Lebanon, where he was instrumental in the set up of the Fixed Income Trading business.
